PTO & Sick Leave Policy

Paid Time Off

Full-time employees are entitled to 25 days of PTO per year, accruing from start date at a rate of 25 days per 12 months worked.

Employees may only take PTO days that have already been accrued — unless explicit approval is granted by their Line Manager. After 4 months for example, accrued ≈ 8.3 days.

Unused PTO may carry over into the following year, up to a maximum of 5 days.

Sick Leave

Employees are granted 5 undocumented sick days per year, resetting on the work anniversary.

For sick leave extending beyond 5 days, medical documentation is required.

Public Holidays

Egypt public holidays are not deducted from PTO. The tracker will flag any entry logged on a public holiday.
